all the pieces on atelierfloriankoebler.com are made with the outmost respect for our planet and the living beings on it. the resources have been researched to hold up to the personal standards i believe in.
all suppliers of precious metals and billets have been contacted and asked to disclose their sources. if possible only metals that have already been in the cycle are used. if not it’s mandatory that the refineries are certified for social, ecological and economical standards. the foundry i’m working with is only using LBMA certified metals.
the same principles are adhered in my studio.
citric acid is used during the manufacturing process so the use of harmful chemicals is almost non existent. the chosen polish and solder fluid are non harmful as well.
the origins of other natural resources like wood or antler are clarified by myself.
